We bought three of the these to replace the bigger clunky ones we had, but when we programmed them they didn't seem to work as well as the bigger ones. You practically have to be standing next to the gate to get it to open and that's after having pressed the button several times. They're nice sized but that's about it.

I had an ancient remote (two actually) that was falling apart. I bought two of these and I am very satisfied. Easy to program and operate and has good range. Much smaller and lighter than the original (also, probably easier to lose).

Finding a remote that was Stanley compatible at the local hardware and big box stores was unsuccessful. I found this one on Amazon, ordered it, received it quickly, and it works perfectly. I had to open it up and set the code, but I used the directions, and opened the original remote too match the codes. The original is too large for a key ring, but the new one works just right.
