The Model MDR/U 1-Channel Plug-in Receiver is a versatile (universal) receiver that makes it very easy to equip nearly any garage door operator for use with Linear's popular MegaCode format transmitters. This receiver is very easy to program and use. It responds to a transmitter button push with a clean 1/2 second momentary relay contact closure. Reasonable range of about 50 feet in the open, a little less through walls. I have purchased several of these units, I like them.
works great on obsolete door opener September 6, 2009

could not find a remote keypad to work on my old Overhead opener. connected this to my door opener along with the Linear MTDK keypad. Works great.
