My OEM Sears unit died- I think the motherboard got cracked, so I thought I would get a small keychain remote instead. This unit works better than the original control. Only thing that would be nice is a colored button for the main button. Works as advertised. I am purchasing another soon to replace the wife's controller, but will get the Liftmaster two button console unit instead so it is larger/easier to push the right button. Make sure you get the right model.

Works great! If I had one complaint though it would be that the instructions do not give any directions on how to erase the codes in the device if you mess up the programming.

This remote appeared compatible from all information available in the product description, but was not compatible with Liftmaster Pro model 3243 1/3 HP, which has a purple learn button. The first item in the instruction booklet notes these remotes are only compatible with red or orange buttons. Tried just in case, but they are right :( This would have been helpful to know!
