Works just fine with Wayne Dalton openers. September 8, 2010 Kevin Farrell This remote was easy to program and set up, came with a clip and battery, and worked the first time. I bought two for my wife and I, and both worked right away. We have a Wayne Dalton brand opener.
Liftmaster Garage Door Opener July 31, 2010 Arley I ordered this to replace a destroyed Craftsman garage door opener which I have had for about 12 years. I had read the reviews and everyone liked it and they had said it worked with Craftsman but when I got the instructions the Craftsman wasn't listed. I decided to try it anyway and after you press the button on the back of the garage door opener and then I pressed seven times and it worked. It has worked flawlessly for the last month. I would highly recommend it and it was less than half the price of one from Lowes or Home Depot.
Excellent product - LiftMaster 375LM Universal Remote June 23, 2010 A. Cheung (Fremont, CA) I had a Chamberlain garage door opener and needed to add an additional remote control, the original remote transmitter has the logo "Chamberlain Security+" printed on it.
Within five minutes after I unpacked the unit, I was able to open and close the garage door with the new remote!
Programming was very simple:
1. press the Program button inside the remote.
2. press the Learn button on the garage door opener.
3. Press one of the big buttons on top of the remote 3 times (3 times for my opener, others brands require more pushes).
4. the light on the opener blinked as soon as it recognized the signal.
5. press the Program button inside the remote again to end the programming.
6. Done! Press the big button to open the garage door.
The range distance was about the same as the original remote.
Overall, I am very happy with the product.
Universal Garage Door and Gate Opener June 1, 2010 V. Dean (Silicon Valley, CA) I bought two of these to open gated entries and garage doors at two different properties. This little thing worked on all four systems. Feeling a little experimental, I tried two additional garage doors and another gate -- it worked on everything.
Some reviewers complained about range. My remotes performed very close to the remotes they replaced (equivalent or within 90% of original range at all sites).

Linear (with 8-position dip switch in remote)
Garage Doors:
Chamberlain (with orange pairing button on system)
Craftsman [Chamberlain-OEM (with purple pairing button on system)]

Liftmaster 375LM works, but has only two options (+ and -) per digit May 2, 2010 anonymous coward This item is compact and comes with a battery already installed. It worked fine with
the older Sears Craftsman and the Sutherland garage door openers here. BUT, the switches
that you use to enter the code for your garage door opener have only two positions per
digit of the code: plus and minus. Many manual garage door openers have THREE positions
per digit: plus, minus, and zero. The instructions for this unit say that the receiver
(that is, the garage door opener itself) must have its code set to eliminate zeros.
Indeed, I did have to change the codes to convert them from pluses, minuses, and zeros
to just pluses and minuses. Then, the units worked fine. Note that the LiftMaster 62LM, eg
Liftmaster 62LM 2 button sears craftsman compatible 9 dip switch, also
has two buttons. It has two manual code-entry switches, and both of them provide 3 values per
code digit. It is available from Amazon for roughly the same price and is only slightly larger.
