5 out of 5 stars Love it & quick shipping, easy to install & program, works great   July 1, 2010

Easy to program. Had it working and installed in minutes. Makes getting into the garage SOOOOO much easier.

5 out of 5 stars Fabulous product and great customer service!   May 27, 2010
L. Hunt (Michigan)
We purchased the unit because we got tired of making keys to the house for family members who kept losing them. It was easy to program, easy to install, and worked like a charm. Our only issue came when the product failed after about a year of use. The unit's warranty is only one year, but I called the customer service department anyway because the unit was in a well-protected area and I wanted to let them know I expected better longevity for the price. I was happy to talk with a very pleasant person in customer service who is shipping us a new unit today! Good customer service seems to be hard to come by these days, I'll stick with this company for awhile!

5 out of 5 stars Received LM 387, instead of KLIK2U   May 15, 2010
Calico44 (Jackson, MI)
I ordered a Chamberlain KLIK2U Clicker Keypad, but received a Chamberlain LiftMaster Professional
model 387LM. The alternate model has worked fine so far; it programmed according to the
included directions, and installed easily. I have no idea why it is called "Professional", but that is
the sort of word that advertising copy writers and packaging specialists add to the materials
to make a product sound better. Andy Rooney pointed that out years ago on "60 Minutes",
but the practice continues. At any rate, if you need one of these keypads, and your
garage door opener was manufactured by Chamberlain in the last 4 or 5 years, this model
should work fine. The KLIK2U will work also.

Works fine, easy to install. Simple keypad but for the price I'm not complaining.

4 out of 5 stars Programming Clicker   May 11, 2010

Programming KLIK2U was aggravating because of a feature that is not on the packaging or in the instructions.

I am using mine with a Chamberlain PD212DM opener and after the unit light blinked indicating the PIN had been accepted I tried the code. The door opened after pressing the first digit, stopped by pushing another digit and I found it would operate just like a remote - no PIN required.

After getting aggravated, instead of smashing the clicker, I put it down and tried again later - it now required the PIN followed by zero to operate the door. While the door was running any key would stop/start it. Now the unit needs the PIN followed by zero after the keypad goes dark. It could be a feature of the opener - but the issue is the same, since they are made by the same company and there is no mention in either set of instructions.

I'll give the Clicker a 5 as a key-less entry, but the instructions get a 2 for being incomplete. It is a neat feature to be able to use any key to stop your door after the code is entered, however if that feature was in the instructions it would have saved me an hour troubleshooting a non existent problem. Yes I would recommend this unit
