Work Great- east to install August 24, 2010

These new Nylon rollers are much quieter than the old ones and easy to install. Note- when installing the bottom roller it was much easier to loosen the rail that it rolls in and move it to the side so that you can slide the roller out without removing the hinge. The bottom hinge is connected to the tension wire and much more difficult to remove.

I purchased a set of these to help reduce the racket that comes with opening and closing the typical garage door. These went a long way in reducing the noise (as did a can of WD40). They were easy to install as well.

These rollers fit standard garage doors. I had an original steel roller fail on my garage door causing a horrible grinding sound. I went online to find a full set of replacements and came across these nylon coated ones. Wow, talk about quieting up your garage door. Too bad I have a chain driven opener. If I had a belt or screw driven opener it would be almost completely silent. I've had them in about a month and it seems like they have gotten even quieter after a little break in.
