Product Description
The Linear Model 308911 1-Channel Visor Transmitter is a poratble transmitter designed for automatic door and gate operator applications manufactured by Linear only(Not for Sears, Liftmaster, Chamberlain,Genie). This transmitter is a single-channel device, pressing the pushbutton will send a signal to the receiver. The transmitter has a red test/operate indicator and is powered by a 9-volt battery. The transmitter is Multi-Code format with one 10-position coding switch providing 1,024 possible codes. The transmitter will only activate receivers set with the same code. The Model 308911 is compatible with 300 MHz Multi-Code receivers and Linear Model 109950 and 302850 receivers. A visor clip is included.

...but YES! It's the one! We had to replace one; something to do with with soda and catsup residue I suppose...Took a leap of faith based on the "300" and there under the hood are the 10 little switches. (Battery and clip included.)

Controller was delivered quickly and included a fresh battery. Once I programmed the dip switches as provided in the enclosed instructions, the remote works beautifully and seems to have a better range than my previous model.
