works well - same as original remotes December 28, 2009 pt181 (Rochester, NY USA) I purchased this a couple of years ago to replace a lost remote. It has worked well for the last few years - no complainte.
Easy to use October 27, 2009 S. Meyer (Minneapolis, MN USA) This remote is so much nicer and better looking than the gi-normous one that originally came with my garage door opener. Once I actually read the instructions and looked at the garage door opener for the code (not the original remote) it was very easy to get it set up and working properly.
It works! October 25, 2009 P. Panajchariya (IL United States) I've bought a house and the seller never given me the garage door remote. It was an older model of Chamberlain, 350-6, which was manufactured in 1993. I called the manufacturer. They no longer carried any parts of old models. So I tried this remote. First time it didn't work because the remote had one extra dip switch that my opener didn't have. Later I learned that all I needed to do was set that extra switch to 0. Then voila! Worked as a charm. I'm a happy camper now. :-)
Garage Door Opener Remote February 19, 2009 Derf777 I purchased two garage door openers in 1992 from Home Hardware. One of the remotes quit working and the original store advised the product was discontinued and I needed to purchase a replacement for apx $50. Searching Amazon, I found this remote and it sounded just like the one I needed; so for $15 I took a chance.
It's identical to the one I needed except for the name on the front and the new one is black compared to the one I had which is red - no problem!
I set the new one's dip switches to the same configuration as the old one, pushed the button and voila! It works like a charm!
The battery included was a bonus as they are expensive to buy separately.
I'm a happy camper!
Excellent... December 27, 2008 MobileShopper The look is not great kind of '60s '70s but IT WORKS. Its compatible with my chamberlain garage opener device and I love it.
