5 out of 5 stars Can't see your garage door?   July 13, 2010
H. Rosenberg (Los Angeles)
Our garage door can not be seen without walking outside, so when accidental triggering of the remote happens, the door stayed up until we went outside to check the door. Incredibly easy to install, and very reliable, and a standard battery. I wish the remotes had recessed buttons! Just carrying the remote in my pocket with the car keys triggers the opener. Terrific product because it actually works!

5 out of 5 stars Garage door monitor   April 19, 2010

This product was quickly shipped. I had initially installed about 50' from sending unit, this didn't work well. I contacted mfr.and it was suggested I shorten the distance, which I did to about 30' and it works very well now.
for the price I consider it a good value.

5 out of 5 stars Works fine for us   April 9, 2010
Harry (Massachusetts, USA)
Works fine for us. We use it with two doors. About 25-40 feet to the doors, through one wall. Door mount sender is battery powered and Velcro mounted, very convenient. Inside unit needs AC power and a screw hole. Clear instructions.

3 out of 5 stars works some of the time   January 10, 2010
J. Zappia (Bishop, CA)
If there are more then 2 walls between the garage door and your monitor base unit, it just isn't going to work all the time. My monitor is about 25', including 2 walls, from the door sensor and even after installing a 2nd new battery, I will get false readings especially at night when it is cold in the garage.

1 out of 5 stars unfortunately, it's not reliable   December 7, 2009
W. Bachman (Rockville, MD USA)
I was hoping this product would be the solution I was looking for. I have four garage doors and a bad memory. Unfortunately, the product is not 100% reliable. Often it says all garage doors are closed (green) when in fact they are not. Also sometimes it flashes red and green. Does that mean the doors are half way closed? Disappointing.
