Works wonderfully! July 13, 2010 Solange We recently sold the old, rarely-used truck that took up one half of our 2-car garage and I was able, for the first time in my life, to have a garage stall for my car. I was very excited, as we live in a snow belt state and I've spent many, many hours in the past 10+ years scraped ice and snow off my car in the morning. However, when my SO bought the house as a single man, he didn't care that the garage door opener (installed in 1988) had only one remote. In my excitement to park my car indoors, I took off to our local home improvement store to buy a universal remote that "Works with all major brands!"
Needless to say, after an hour of increasingly frustrated attempts at programming, it didn't work with OUR brand. I did some research, and found this remote.
It works wonderfully! The instructions were easy and it took me seconds to program. It took longer to open the packaging than it did to program. It works so well, and has such a great range, that my SO is thinking about replacing his with this model (it's also about one eighth the size of the original remote).
For the record, we have an Allister opener (no visible model number) that uses an ADX9931 remote.
Works Great July 3, 2010 rideabiketoday Buy it if you still have the clunky old remote for your garage, you wont regret it. Its compact and is super easy to set up.
Great Find! March 27, 2010 Dave I thought I would never be able to find a replacement transmitter for my 24 year old Raynor opener with Pulsar controller, but this one did the trick. Super easy and fast to program, and works better than the one it replaced (which I had lost). Excellent service from Amazon also.
Works perfectly! December 16, 2009 Chris Fishman-weaver This unit replaced an aging pulsar, 8 dip switch, opener. There are no physical dip switches in these remotes just an intuitive programming method that mimics them. I programmed both remotes in about five minutes and they work perfectly with our old Challenger garage door openers.
Deliciously Effective June 28, 2009 Chad M. Vonins (Los Angeles, California) A very powerful garage door opener. I live in an apartment complex and I can open the garage door through the walls if I have my wife/a friend pulling in. This is the second one I purchased in the past 2 years and the first one is very reliable never had any problems with it.
